<image:title>The Congruence Logo - The colors</image:title>
<image:caption>The colors of Congruence — blue, brown, and green — were deliberately selected from the LGBTQ Pride Flag. The LGBTQ+ community has been traditionally marginalized, especially among those with intersectional identities, such as LGBTQ+ People of Color (POC). We can all learn something from the strength and resilience the community has demonstrated in light of the tribulations they have suffered. Congruence honors that history by promoting colors from the flag that are in line with our mission and values. Blue represents harmony, a word that is synonymous with congruence. Brown represents inclusion, which symbolizes our commitment to racial justice and lifting up Black and Indigenous POC. Green represents nature and symbolizes the renewal, healing, and growth that we hope to engender in those who seek our services.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Congruence Logo - The logo</image:title>
<image:caption>The Congruence logo encapsulates all of the values that are embodied in our mission. The congruence symbol is embedded in the circular design, demonstrating our commitment to universal peace and harmony. The logo also contains the colors (see above) that signify our desire for individuals and communities to experience congruence, celebrate inclusion and diversity, and find renewal and transformation.</image:caption>

<image:caption>As a therapist, I work with you by engaging in meaningful introspection; exploring your various identities, roles, and place in larger systems; and delving into those sometimes overwhelming emotions that leave you convinced that you are powerless to your circumstances.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Dr. Freeman-Coppadge - Populations</image:title>
<image:caption>Congruence offers services for people in over 30 states via telehealth (see eligible states here). In-person services are available for those in the eastern Sussex County area of Delaware (Lewes, Rehoboth, Bethany, etc.) and the greater Baltimore-Annapolis metro area. Sessions occurring via telehealth use videoconferencing technology on a secure platform (SimplePractice). I do individual, couples, and group therapy with adults of all ages who are dealing with issues like depression and other mood struggles, anxiety, adjustment concerns, relationship and interpersonal problems, and identity-based stressors. I have a special place in my heart for LGBTQ+ people, those dealing with multicultural issues and/or identity conflicts, and emerging adults.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Dr. Freeman-Coppadge - Therapeutic Style</image:title>
<image:caption>My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing primarily from evidence-based treatments like emotion-focused and relational/interpersonal approaches, but I also incorporate insight-oriented psychodynamic theories, acceptance and commitment (ACT) techniques, and narrative therapy into my work, all within a social justice framework. Most importantly, you will find me to be easy-going and informal so that you feel safe, unpressured, and able to pursue your goals on your terms and in your time. I strongly believe in the healing power of humor, so my colleagues will attest to how often laughter can be heard coming from my office.</image:caption>

<image:title>Paying for Services - Insurance help?</image:title>
<image:caption>Congruence Counseling & Psychology, LLC is in-network with CareFirst (Blue Cross/Blue Shield). However, if you do not have CareFirst, that doesn’t mean you can’t afford services! Many insurance plans provide out-of-network benefits that can reimburse anywhere from 50-80% of session fees. Please see the tips at the bottom of the page about how to determine if your insurance company can reimburse you for any therapy costs. If you can be reimbursed for costs, I can provide you with a “superbill” (an itemized list of services you have received from Congruence) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.</image:caption>

<image:title>Paying for Services - Fees for Services</image:title>
<image:caption>Fees depend upon the type(s) of services you are seeking. For psychotherapy, click the link below for session costs. The amount you pay depends upon the type of session (intake, individual, couples, or group). If you are insured by CareFirst (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), you will likely only have to pay for applicable copay and/or deductible costs for sessions (assuming your plan is accepted by Congruence). For speaking and consulting services, fees range from $180-$200 per hour + applicable travel costs. Please contact Dr. Freeman-Coppadge (see contact link at the bottom of the page) if you would like to discuss a request for services, or have any questions about costs for services.</image:caption>

<image:title>Paying for Services - Accepted forms of payment</image:title>
<image:caption>The easiest way to pay for psychotherapy sessions is by credit, debit, or HSA cards. (The only applicable costs for CareFirst clients would be your copay and/or deductible, assuming your particular plan is accepted by Congruence.) Congruence uses SimplePractice software for keeping track of your scheduled sessions and clinical paperwork. Through this secure, HIPAA-compliant software, you will be able to provide a card to use for all session fees. PayPal or checks can also be used to pay for sessions if you would prefer. Other services, such as speaking or consulting fees, can be paid by PayPal or check.</image:caption>
